David Guttenfelder has been a world-renowned chronicler of the intriguing development in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea for more than 18 years. He began his work in North Korea as Associate Press’s Chief Photographer for Asia when North Korea was virtually invisible to the American public consciousness.
